Paint samples are for sissy's. I think that you "know" what color is right when you're in Home Depot looking at the color cards. Or at least when you bring the cards home. I followed the rule and picked a few options to put on the wall and feel out the room. It was nice to see the colors in the room and to see a couple that were too white or "too little boy" as I was told. The one that felt right is the darker blue grey. It may seem too dark, but I think it will be fine with all the white trim and bright windows in this room.
